Privacy Policy

This policy applies to algoryntech.com and to the personal information we handle when you enquire about our services or engage us on a project.

Work we do inside a client system is governed by the contract for that project, not by this policy. In that situation the client, not us, decides what happens to the data.

We collect three kinds of information, and no more than we need.

• Information you give us: your name, email address, mobile number, the subject you select and the message you write, when you send the contact form or email us.
• Information about your visit: pages viewed, time on page, approximate location, referring site, browser and device type, collected through analytics.
• Information you give us during a project: whatever is needed to do the work, such as account details, sample records or access credentials.

Contact form submissions exist so we can reply to your enquiry and quote for the work. We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry.

Analytics data exists so we can see which pages are read and which are not, and improve the site accordingly.

Project information exists so we can deliver, support and maintain what you have engaged us to build.

This website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser and reports usage back to Google. That reporting includes your IP address, which Google processes on our behalf.

We do not run advertising trackers or sell audience data.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them, though we will no longer see that your visit happened.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

We share it only in these situations.

• With service providers who run parts of our infrastructure, such as hosting and analytics, and only to the extent they need it.
• With a client, where you have contacted us about their project and they need to know.
• Where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live and for as long afterwards as we may reasonably need them, then deleted.

Project information is kept for the life of the engagement and for the period our contract with the client requires.

Analytics data is kept according to the retention period set in Google Analytics.

Access to enquiry and project data is limited to the people working on it. Systems we host are patched, backed up and monitored as part of the service.

No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information we will tell you and the relevant authority, as the law requires.

Write to info@algoryntech.com and you can ask us to do any of the following.

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• Delete information we no longer have a reason to keep.
• Stop sending you anything you did not ask for.
• Give you a copy of what you provided, in a portable format.

We may need to confirm who you are before we act, so that we do not hand your information to somebody else.

This site links to other websites, including social networks. Once you follow a link you are on their site and under their policy, not ours. We are not responsible for what they do with your data.

Our services are sold to businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.

When this policy changes we replace it on this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that means the revised policy applies.
